Frequently Asked Questions
Are you a licensed Drone Pilot?
Yes, I hold a Remote Pilot, Small Unmanned Aircraft System license from the Department of Transportation / FAA. This is a Part 107 Commercial License.
Are all of your drones registered with the FAA?
Yes, I own and fly two Yuneec Typhoon H Drones with Intel RealSence modules as my primary flying camera platforms.
Do you fly over these temples?
ABSOLUTELY NOT!!! I always fly outside the fence lines. I hold these temples sacred and will not even fly over the temple grounds.
Some of these temples are close to airports. How can you legally fly around them?
I always use the B4UFLY app on my phone to determine if I need to fly in FAA controlled airspace. When I want to fly in controlled airspace, I go to the Aloft app and apply for an LAANC (Low Altitude Authorization and Notification Capability). This is the way that large drones are integrated into controlled airspace below 400 feet. The FAA has the final say and I only fly when authorization is issued.
How can I keep up with your new work?
Return to my site often or become a member and be contacted when new temples and content are added to the site. It’s easy, just enter your email address below. Don’t worry, I won’t share your email address with anyone else and I will only send you mail when I update my site with new temples and products. You can also look at the Red notification bar at the top of the page that announces my next plans.
